Tukar is a 3-person Rock band based in Iligan City, consisting of Tony, Dansoy & Onadz.
They have around 100+ original compositions with tune & melody and has currently completed their lineup for their Covid-19 inspired double album called “Pandemonium.”
Tukar is a three-person Filipino Rock band based in Iligan City, Lanao del Norte, Philippines. This trio currently consists of lead vocalist/rhythm guitars-Tony boy, bass-Dansoy and drummer-Onadz (and is currently in search for a new member as lead guitarist).
Formerly called Mitochondria, this musical ensemble originated from Bayug where members are mostly neighbors who grew up together. They started out as a 4-part band in 1996 as Dean’s List, started composing their own songs and playing cover songs also.
The music group’s musical influences vary from rock, alternative, metal, reggae, ethnic/world beat, ballads, new wave and lots more. The band's genre is Alternative music and they do have a number of English and Tagalog original songs as well as VisPop, BisRock original compositions including Instrumentals.
At present the musical group has around 100+ original compositions with tune and melody. In view of this Pandemic, the band has been composing and working on a number of their very own Covid-19 inspired original compositions for inspiration.
Currently, they have completed their lineup for their proposed and concept double album of timely songs, an album they call “Pandemonium”. This Covid-19 inspired double album is composed of 10 original compositions for each album.
They are currently working on a 3rd follow-up album (currently got 7 of 10 tracks) and continues to work on their songs, recording them and making amateur music videos.
